Conversion Dynamics is a software engineering consulting company based in northern California. We've been developing branded web portals, data conversion tools and office workflow integration solutions since 1988.
Here are just a few examples of client projects we've completed:
Moody's KMV
Moody's KMV is a specialized company that provides quantitative credit analysis tools to lenders, investors, and corporations. They needed a workflow solution developed that would integrate and process data throughout each step their approval process using Outlook forms integrated with an Excel spreadsheet database located on a network share.
We built the complete end to end solution based on their specifications, put it through our validation testing process and released the finished solution to them for deployment in their Exchange organization. We worked with their IT people every step of the way, through a targeted group of early adopters through company-wide deployment to ensure they had a solid solution that fulfilled their vision and scaled to their intended use.
Unipress Software, Inc.
Unipress markets a widely used help-desk system for large scale network clients and government agencies. We developed a middleware engine that adds extensibility to their existing help desk product, allowing it to interface with Microsoft Exchange secure e-mail in both directions.
Their client (in this case, a government agency) uses Exchange-native secure encryption for interagency communication. The challenge was to build a solution that could import and export data contained in Exchange-encrypted MAPI items between Outlook and the Footprints help desk system. Unipress turned to us for help with some hurdles they encountered with Microsoft Exchange encryption. We were able to build a custom engine that provided the two-way conduit they needed for end-to-end extensibility of their product without sacrificing the level of encryption and security required by the government agency.
itrezzo, Inc.
itrezzo develops and markets extensibility solutions for the RIM Blackberry, which is a wireless handheld e-mail communication device. itrezzo developed a product called itrezzoAgent Server, which runs on Exchange server and provides extensibility features for wireless blackberry units, such as fax-to-blackberry, on-demand web site conversion to plain text for blackberry, the ability to view attachments on blackberry, etc.
In order to provide a means for purchasing itrezzoAgent client licenses from the web, itrezzo asked us to build some middleware tools that would function as an e-commerce purchase system and a client license generator. We built a mail-enabled purchase processing engine and a client license distribution engine, both implemented as custom ISAPI DLLs that reside on the web server and process data between the web site user interface, the back-end databases and the credit card transaction provider. We also developed the web site's front end user interface for these processing engines.
Sessionware, Inc.
For this network consulting company, we built several internal tools and solutions, including a complete time tracking system based on Outlook Forms and public folders. We also built a back-end engine that converted and processed the public folder data into SQL Server tables and a "Robot Mailer" solution that provided automated e-mail reporting from the SQL Server data. The time tracking solution was designed to be used by Outlook 97/98 and allowed offline use and synchronization capabilities. Because significant improvements were made to Outlook 2000 and later with respect to extensibility, if we were to build that same application today, we would implement it as an Outlook Add-In using Visual Studio.
Conversion Dynamics has a great reputation in the industry for building quality conversion tools and extensibility solutions for Microsoft Outlook, Exchange, IIS and Microsoft Office applications.
